romantics vs. cynics

after some intense meditations, really thick self-help books, a few can of coke, and watching some episodes of spongebob squarepants, i got an epiphany, my soul raises up to a higher level, and i finally gain insights of life, love, and some few other things not important enough to be written here. anyway, i think i'll share it with you, here's some of them...

and no, i don't know what the heck i'm talking about.


life
romantics : a chance to give to other people. time given to us to be benevolent and generous. an opportunity to make the world a better place.
cynics : is a bitch, and then you die.

love
romantics : the angels are singing, birds are chirping, the sun greets you with his (or her) warmth, everything is beautiful
cynics : lust, in smaller dosage.

love at first sight
romantics : when you knew in an instance that the person standing in front of you is the one made for you, the instance your souls converse without a sound.
cynics :well it should be lust at first sight if you ask me..

true love
romantics : a gift from the heavens.. something each of us will find in our life, once you've met your soulmate
cynics : happens quite often if the other person(s) delivers the "right stuff" , if you know what i mean..

soulmate
romantics : "THE home" the person that makes your heart at ease, the one with whom you'll experience true love (see definition above)
cynics :the person(s) that delivers the "right stuff" if you know what i mean

non-profit organizations / pro bono acts
romantics : the living fact that we human beings really were created in God's image. a glimpse of what heaven is like, right here on earth.
cynics :the simplest way to gain popularity, you don't have to be good looking nor rich to do it (having some cash will be better though).

police officers
romantics : public servants with super human conscience to protect and serve their fellow civillians.
cynics :thugs in uniforms

soldiers
romantics : good samaritans that dedicate their lives for their fellow countrymen (and women)
cynics :thugs with heavy weapons

books / literature
romantics : the showcase of our great civilization. windows that connect people's hearts
cynics :some made up stories and/or exaggeration of facts. good door stoppers.

idealism / virtues
romantics : basic values you must put into actions, values that make you what you are
cynics :jargons made up by pig-headed people to back up their stuborness.
